A bit about St Ives

St Ives is a charming seaside town in Cornwall which I and many other artists have visited for centuries. Once a fishing village, it’s now famous for the Tate St Ives gallery and its vibrant arts scene. Narrow cobbled streets, historic cottages, and stunning coastal views make it a favorite destination for tourists and creatives alike.

St Nicholas’ Chapel

St Nicholas’ Chapel, perched on the Island above St Ives. This small, historic stone building dating back to the 15th century. Once used as a lookout and place of worship for fishermen.

St Ives Head

This Lookout Station is located on the Island above the town. It serves as a National Coastwatch Institution post. Staffed by volunteers, it monitors marine traffic and ensures coastal safety.
