About this drawing
While drawing and painting at Liverpool Street Station, London I noticed a small gathering of girls. I decided that they had all probably just arrived in from Essex, and were here for a Hen Weekend prior to a wedding. There was just something about them that said they were steeling themselves up for a party. I drew each of them as they sipped beer and smoked cigarettes. And here is one of them to give away.
You can read more about my painting of Liverpool St Station here.
The pencil study is 12.5cm x 17.5cm, signed and mounted on acid free card.
The newsletter will be sent out on the 28th January 2016. I look forward to your sign up.

As always…love every drawing you do Liam….hoping to be the lucky one this time.
Hi Carol,
I hope you are well.
Cheers for the feedback and fingers crossed on the win.
Best wishes
Liam
Beautiful drawing. Your people have so much charm and personality. (Especially when paired with dogs – but I’m a dog person!) I am very glad to be a new fan (and very happy one of my art friends liked one of your Facebook posts)!
Hi Cindy
Very nice to hear from you and thanks for the feedback.
Interestingly I’m not a dog person either but they look great in street scenes. I did loads of dog drawings in New York when I was there. They love dogs.
I will pop you on my newsletter if that ok. I give away drawings and such like. Some of which have dogs in them.
What’s not to like?
Regards
Liam
Been following you on fb for a while, love the pictures, makes me think i really need to get out and do some drawing (at least) one of these day…
Thanks!
Hi Jonny,
Thanks for that. I always pester people to get out and do a bit of drawing.
If you draw something you get to really see it in a special way. On city breaks I really feel I get to know a place really well if I simply I sit down for one day and draw one single thing, rather than dashing about snapping everything and nothing on a phone.
Its really a low cost hoppy and takes up very little room to carry about.
Give it a go.
Liam
