I am having an exhibition of my paintings, prints and drawings in my home village of Pilton, Somerset as part of ‘Somerset Art Works’.
It is located in a lovely barn, and overlooks the Glastonbury Festival Pyramid stage which is a bit of a change from the big city. Do come along if you can, we even have cake and tea!
What is Somerset Art Works?
Somerset Art Weeks is an annual two week countywide celebration of the variety and quality of contemporary visual art that can be found in Somerset.
“We initiate a wide range of projects in a variety of settings, working in partnership with other arts and non-arts organisations, supporting the artists who enrich our lives and always integrating artists’ professional development. We work to increase public engagement, weaving together communities and raising the profile of the vibrant contemporary visual, digital and applied arts scene in Somerset.”

Who am I exhibiting with?
I am exhibiting with five other creatives, and we have a pretty wide range of items including painting, jewellery, textiles, ceramics and collage.
My fellow artists are:
Lis Lawrence – Unique hats and accessories in handmade felt
Peter Lawrence – Bold watercolour paintings
Lavinia Cellan Jones – Beautiful ceramics
Dimitris Koutroumpas – Paper collage and decoupage furniture

So there will be plenty to see and buy, should you wish to come along.
