I am currently putting my work together for this year Somerset Art Weeks (SAW) an artist-led organisation and Somerset’s only countywide agency dedicated to developing the visual arts. It is running from 21st September to the 6th October.
This is my first year exhibiting with SAW and I am looking forward to it. What makes it extra special is that I am exhibiting here in Pilton at the Barn in the grounds of Worthy Cottage.
A fantastic venue where you can see Glastonbury Tor six miles down the road and the barn overlooks the bones of the Glastonbury Festival Pyramid stage at the foot of the hill below. In preparation I am currently going through my drawings produced during the Glastonbury Festival.
I wish there was some quick way of creating crowds of people, there seems to be no other way other than doing dozens of individual studies. Canaletto must have gone mad.
