After 23 years in London we have finally decided to move out to the country. We are now living in the Somerset village of Pilton, the home of the Glastonbury festival. They tell me we have free tickets for life. Now that’s not bad.
It’s a fine location for a painter as it’s only two hours from London, less than two hours from The Exmoor National Park and the Jurassic coast. And just 40 minutes from Bath with plenty more in between.
Hackney was a great place to live in but my studio never had this view.
