A bit about Magnolia
A sign of early spring is the flowering of the Magnolia trees and here in Somerset they are just coming into bloom, so I thought they would be ideal for my newsletter giveaway.
Magnolias are among the oldest flowering plants, with fossil records dating back over 90 million years. Oddly, they predate the evolution of bees so are pollinated by beetles, hence their early flowering. A very welcome site.

Your art is extra ordinary! And I love your magnolia .
Beautiful!
Beautiful!! Magnolias are one of my favourite flowers!! Didn’t know that about beetles pollinating them so learnt something today as well.
I’ve been a fan of your city & landscapes for years!! Now flowers…you have my heart forever❤️
I can almost smell those magnolias. They remind me that spring is on its way!
Recently moved from Devon and left three beautiful Magnolia trees.
Your beautiful painting, stirs fond memories. Adore it.
