In this video, I’m going to talk about a series of paintings I’ve been doing at this wonderful place called Rockaway Park in Somerset.

 

Now, as Rockaway Park is an eclectic and fantastic place and I’ve decided to paint five scenes. That said, I don’t doubt for a second that I could’ve easily done another 50.

What is Rockaway Park like?

I suppose you’d have to visit it to understand it, but essentially it’s a mishmash of old rockets, bits of rusty car and lumps of wood, all topped off with a rather fine vegan cafe. So, what’s not to like? 

 

Once all five paintings were complete, we put our heads together and decided to do a series of cards to sell in their rather wonderful on-site shop, in which you will also find some of my original paintings and a few limited edition prints as well.
