A Limited edition print of a painting of The Holy Trinity Church, Godney, Somerset

£80.00

30cm x 20m image size not including the white boarder paper

On a cycle ride across the thankfully flat Somerset Levels I came across a modest rise in the land, and on that rise, I discovered this rather wonderful church. It has a presence all of its own and made a perfect watercolour.

A bit about the Holy Trinity Church, Godney

Holy Trinity Church, Godney in Somerset is a former Anglican church built between 1839 and 1841 to designs by George Phillips Manners, constructed in Blue-Lias ashlar with a slate roof and featuring Romanesque-style round-headed windows.  It occupies a medieval ecclesiastical site linked to Glastonbury Abbey, was consecrated on 22 July 1841, and later designated a Grade II listed building. After serving the local parish, it was declared redundant in 1999 and now functions as a venue for weddings and events.

What is a Giclee Print?

Giclee is a very high quality print process used by galleries and artists for exclusive limited editions. This Giclee process uses 12 true pigment artist colours (ultra marine, ochre etc) rather than the standard four dye colours in normal printing, so Giclee delivers greater depth in colour, tonal values and no yellowing over time.
