A bit about this painting
Something a little bit more conventional in this months newsletter. I pass this scene through the village of Pylle whilst cycling to the shop to buy the milk.
I really don’t know how sheep cope with winter, even with those big, wooly fleeces.
I suppose I will alway be a city person at heart.

For a city dweller (St John’s Wood north of Paddington) this image of sheep grazing in serene Somerset farmland is a happy reminder of visiting that area years ago. Beautiful!
Love a sheep!!!
I remember my first encounter with the blacked faced sheep. I traveled to England a month after 9/11 and spent a week in the Cotswolds. Absolutely amazing!
Love a painting of the countryside. This will be a thing of the past if we carry on building so many houses.Would love this painting.

Great sheep pic. Nice to have a pastoral scene for a change.
We’ve had a new set of bells cast for North Curry church, using the old metal but replacing the wooden frame with steel. Should serve us another 200 years, we hope.
Hi David,
Thats good news, we had a new one here in Pilton. One of the last bells cast at The Whitechapel foundry.
I really enjoyed painting North Curry Church.
Best wishes
Liam
Great sky.
