A video of a London walk to The Royal Academy of Arts
I often visit London often and to get across the city, in general, I would use the tube, although since the pandemic, I have been more inclined to walk.
And really, if you have the time, it’s a far better way to travel, especially in an ancient city like London.
I did a trip a while back, and thought that it would be interesting to video the walk from Waterloo Station to The Royal Academy of arts in Piccadilly.
I crossed the river and then made my way through central London passing several famous sights to finally arrive at the RA.
Once there, I visited the summer exhibition and filmed a bit of that of that too, so it became a bit of a ‘day in the life’ thing.

The whole walk took me about forty minutes and it’s amazing what you see along the way.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my London Walk.

Love your video and watching you paint—was that an American flag in the painting
Great work Liam. The video tour is excellent & makes me want to visit the Royal Academy myself. I’ve always loved your work, and the vibe I get from your images. A very calming depiction of everyday life. Something we need more than ever in the world today. Keep up the wonderful art. Really appreciate you sharing.
What a lovely idea to photograph your walk to Piccadilly – very much enjoyed watching your video.
