About these drawings
I drew these tourists in Malta. They were sitting outside ‘The Pub’ which was the last watering hole of the late Oliver Reed. On May 2 1999, Oliver Reed visited The Pub while on a break in the filming of Ridley Scott’s epic Gladiator.
Ollie being Ollie had a fair few, when in rolled a group of British sailors from HMS Cumberland. More drinks ensued and he was challenging them all to a bit of arm wrestling.
It is not recorded on whether he won or not, though a short while later, he collapsed and died on one of the Pubs bench seats. So ended a legend, dying how he had lived. On one long party.
The pencil studies are 12cm x 17cm, signed and mounted on acid-free card.
The newsletter will be sent out on the 9th June 2016. I look forward to your sign up in the box on this page.

Love your work are any London galleries showing yor oils
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the feedback and no, I don’t exhibit with any galleries right now. Currently I am in doing commissions, the odd exhibition with other artist or national exhibitions like the NEAC.
I let everyone know what I am doing on my newsletters and the other online madness that is out there.
Any queries then just get in touch.
Best wishes
Liam
