Sign up to my newsletter and you can enter the free draw to win this preparatory pencil study.
I send out my newsletter when I feel I have got something to say which is of genuine interest, usually once or twice a month. Included in each newsletter is one free drawing or Giclee print give-away.
The winner is selected at random from those who express an interest in the drawing.
The newsletter will be sent out within the next week. I look forwards to your sign up.
I noted this cyclist while working on an oil painting of St johns College in Cambridge. There were of course plenty of cyclists to choose from and the real trick is to note them as they go past. He , thankfully was going at a rather sedate pace.
He never made it to the final oil painting though I kept the drawing in case he came in handy for future works.
The pencil study is 13cm x 14cm, signed and mounted on acid free card.
I look forward to hearing from you

Have you ever seen a freshwater fisherman moving at more than a perambulatory rate?
Hi Phillip.
Indeed I have!… oddly I have not painted a fisherman yet. I grew up in Portsmouth too!.
Thanks for your comment
