I was recently invited to exhibit at the Scrap Book Live event organised by IllustrationX at The Griffin Gallery in London.
It was a great night which included live portrait painting by Sarah Beetson and some great calligraphy demonstrations too.
Exhibiting my work next to such great talent is always a bit of worry though thankfully they held their own sitting up on the wall together. It was also refreshing to see both digital and non-digital pieces in the same space. They worked well together and the art world should do more of it.
We wound down at about 10 ish and I left for the rainy trip home fortified with much complimentary Cobra beer.
As an added treat I dropped by a late night Indian restaurant for a lamb balti and a few more Cobras to wash it down with.
