I sold my watercolour painting at The Bath Prize

I am very pleased to hear this very dull Monday morning that my painting I entered in The Bath Prize had sold at the auction on Friday. A tricky competition to do as they choose where you paint. It is of ‘North Parade Bridge’ which would not have been my first choice by a long way. Never the less, in it went, and sell it did.

Looking at it now I am quite pleased with the arch of the bridge at that tricky acute angle. My old Ministry of Defence illustration training comes to the fore again. Thanks Bath Prize, cheque in before Christmas please.

There is also a wide range of activities for all ages so there is plenty to [...]
